Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Assignment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

Pay: $65-75K

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours | On-Site

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions, payroll processing, tax reporting, and administrative operations. This role also provides support for HR activities and serves as a key liaison with the company's external CPA. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for Texas-based employees, including payroll taxes and garnishments.
  • Manage the complete accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation for the company's CPA.
  • File and maintain sales tax and property tax reports in accordance with applicable deadlines.
  • Review, process, and pay vendor invoices while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, including tracking newly purchased equipment.
  • Collaborate with leadership and external accounting partners to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of bookkeeper experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including payroll taxes and employee garnishments.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, month-end close, and accruals.
  • Working knowledge of sales tax and property tax reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a customer-focused approach.
  • Available to work on-site Monday through Friday in Fort Worth, Texas.
