Position SummaryThe K-1 Elementary Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that build strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, critical thinking, and social-emotional development. Essential Responsibilities- Deliver engaging instruction across core elementary subjects.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings, school events, and professional development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
- Florida Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience teaching Kindergarten or First Grade preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
