Day in the life

At our Louisville, KY 40223 facility, you will open the day reviewing work orders, prioritizing finishes, and pulling coatings and materials. You will ready surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming so each part is set up for a flawless coat. Then you will mix colors to spec, select the right technique for the job, and lay down smooth, consistent layers with spray, brush, or roller. Throughout the shift you will inspect, touch up, and fine tune to hit quality targets and production timelines, keeping your booth and tools spotless and safe. Before clocking out, you will perform basic maintenance on your gear so the next run starts strong.

Core responsibilities

• Prepare substrates by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer where needed
• Mix and match paints to achieve the specified color and finish
• Apply coatings using spray, brush, and roller methods
• Inspect finished work for consistency and quality, making adjustments as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines
• Conduct routine maintenance on painting tools and equipment

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting or a related trade is a plus
• Demonstrated experience as an industrial painter or in a closely related role
• Knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and safety practices
• Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
• Clear communication skills and a positive, can do attitude
