Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established, collegial medical team in Shelton, CT.

Essential Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care to patients across a variety of health needs.

  • Conduct detailed clinical evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe evidence-based treatments and medications.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

  • Promote preventive health measures, wellness initiatives, and patient education.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record system.

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

  • Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
