Primero Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for one of our manufacturing partners in the Richmond area. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader who can manage a team, hold employees accountable, and drive production goals in a fast-paced environment.

- Directly supervise production employees, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and daily assignments
- Set and enforce production goals, standards, and safety protocols across shifts
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate priorities, KPIs, and company policy
- Interview, onboard, and train new employees; recommend hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions
- Manage attendance, conduct performance evaluations, and administer corrective action when needed
- Enforce safety policies, lead safety meetings, and hold the team accountable to a safe work environment
- Troubleshoot production issues and partner with maintenance, quality, and HR to resolve concerns
- Analyze production metrics, including efficiency, downtime, output, and labor costs, and report to plant leadership
- Maintain accurate production, attendance, and personnel documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead process changes across the operation
- Previous manufacturing supervisory experience required
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production, warehouse, or industrial environment required
- Proven experience managing performance, attendance, and disciplinary processes
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across a full shift with minimal oversight
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends when needed
