Position Overview
The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful daily operations and performance of 3-4 Gloloft studios while operating their home studio. This role ensures consistent execution of Gloloft standards across all locations, driving revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and cultivating a strong, service-driven culture. The individual will play a vital part in recruitment, operational excellence, and continuous staff development across the region.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and performance for assigned studios, ensuring alignment with Gloloft standards and business objectives while operating their own studio.
- Interview, hire, and onboard new Team Members and Studio Leaders.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, recommending promotions or compensation adjustments as appropriate.
- Support Studio Managers in achieving operational, financial, and service goals.
- Foster collaboration and accountability across teams to drive consistent excellence.
Primary Job Functions
- Ensure all studios (including their home studio) operate efficiently, maintaining a consistent, elevated client experience and a warm, high-energy environment that reflect Gloloft values.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs, labor and client demand to optimize staffing and operational efficiency.
- Oversee compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and State Board regulations.
- Conduct regular weekly studio visits to evaluate performance, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to brand standards.
- Support and oversee scheduling, inventory, and supply management to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Participate in weekly management calls, contributing operational insights and providing performance feedback while working with corporate leadership to develop and implement operational improvements and company initiatives.
- Step in to perform hands-on services (such as spray tanning) when needed to support studio operations.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple studio locations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of operations, scheduling, and performance management.
- Flexibility to travel between studios and work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for the beauty, wellness, or aesthetics industry.
- Experience with Zenoti or similar systems preferred.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of multi-unit management experience in a spa, salon, or retail environment.
- Cosmetology or Esthetics license preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving, and interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Base Pay $60,000-$65,000
Total Pay with Bonuses $75,000-$80,000
