Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate every Sunday Home Health Aide (HHA) / or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide exceptional care and support to our client in Katonah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Parkinson's, with experience working with Parkinson's. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' life while working every Sunday for 13 hour day shift (8am-9pm). Candidates must be committed to maintaining patient dignity, confidentiality, and delivering high-quality personal care.
Duties
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs
Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry.
Utilize patient transfer methods and equipment to ensure safe mobility assistance.
Maintain accurate medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Provide compassionate companionship, emotional support, and engagement tailored to individual needs.
Follow home healthcare regulations and safety protocols diligently during all care activities.
