Twigg's Automotive is currently looking for a full-time Hourly Technician for our busy automotive shop.

Job Summary: The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

* Receive repair orders from dispatcher.

* Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.

* Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.

* Communicate with service adviser to obtain needed authorization for needed repairs and parts.

* Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

* Inform service adviser immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.

* Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work return repair order to service adviser.

* Ensure that customers' vehicles are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort convenience systems or audio system settings. Notify service adviser immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

*Attend from time to time skilled training classes with NAPA Autocare Training in East Greenwich.

*Maintain a neat and clean appearance, wear supplied uniform.

Qualifications: General mechanical skills, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
