Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape metal or other materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Set up machines, including loading materials and adjusting settings
- Monitor machine performance and ensure quality and precision of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience operating laser cutting machines
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC or similar machinery
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes
