- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the patient’s speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and communication goals.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, speech exercises, and techniques for safe swallowing.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
