Job Description
A respected law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage and Litigation practice. This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy analytical writing and legal analysis, while also being motivated by hands-on litigation and trial advocacy.
This position offers a balanced mix of:
- Legal research and writing
- Active litigation responsibilities
- Direct client interaction
The practice focuses on representing insurance carriers in a wide range of coverage matters, including:
- Drafting coverage opinions on third-party liability claims
- Litigating declaratory judgment actions
- Advising on potential extra-contractual exposure
- Responding to tender demands
- Conducting examinations under oath (EUOs)
- Defending coverage and bad faith litigation across multiple lines of insurance
