Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Steel Welders/Fitters for projects located in the Orting, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Read and interpret structural steel drawings and blueprints
- Perform layout and accurately measure materials
- Cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components
- Tack weld assemblies prior to final welding
- Perform structural welding using Dual Shield (.052 and 1/16" wire)
- Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
Responsibilities
- Previous experience as a Structural Steel Welder/Fitter
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and fabrication prints
- Strong layout, measuring, and material preparation skills
- Experience cutting, fitting, and assembling structural steel
- Proficient with Dual Shield/FCAW welding using .052 and 1/16" wire
