Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Steel Welders/Fitters for projects located in the Orting, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Read and interpret structural steel drawings and blueprints
  • Perform layout and accurately measure materials
  • Cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components
  • Tack weld assemblies prior to final welding
  • Perform structural welding using Dual Shield (.052 and 1/16" wire)
  • Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Previous experience as a Structural Steel Welder/Fitter
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and fabrication prints
  • Strong layout, measuring, and material preparation skills
  • Experience cutting, fitting, and assembling structural steel
  • Proficient with Dual Shield/FCAW welding using .052 and 1/16" wire
