Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nutrition Manager (Registered Dietitian) to oversee our nutrition services program. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinical nutrition professional who is passionate about improving resident health, mentoring staff, and delivering exceptional care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
As the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will lead the facility's clinical nutrition program, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure residents receive individualized nutrition care that supports recovery, wellness, and quality of life.
ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all aspects of the facility's clinical nutrition program.
Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight changes, laboratory values, and dietary needs.
Recommend and oversee therapeutic diets, supplements, and nutrition interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, speech therapy, rehabilitation, and dietary services to optimize resident outcomes.
Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and provide clinical nutrition recommendations.
Supervise and mentor dietary personnel on nutrition standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations governing nutrition services.
Monitor food service quality to ensure meals meet nutritional requirements and resident preferences.
Conduct quality assurance audits and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics and wellness initiatives.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with survey preparation and readiness.
Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Active Tennessee Dietitian licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation Center, or healthcare setting preferred.
Prior leadership or management experience in clinical nutrition preferred.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition assessments, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of resident care.
