Sr. Financial Analyst

Robert Half is searching for a strong Senior Financial Analyst / Consultant to support a client in the Food packaging industry. Finance consultant will provide advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support key business decisions. This position partners with multiple departments, delivers actionable insights, and drives process improvements to enhance financial performance. This role will be hybrid schedule with being onsite in Irwindale, CA as needed and especially during month end close.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis

-Develop, update, and analyze financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives

-Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and recommendations

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial impacts of business decisions

-Perform ad-hoc analyses to support management and executive leadership

-Good understanding of accounting journal entries and accruals. ( must have )

-Strong experience with Excel and Tableau, creating dashboards and spreadsheets. ( must)

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a corporate or manufacturing-related environment.

• Strong capability in financial modeling, including scenario planning and business performance evaluation.

• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and present findings in a concise, decision-focused manner.

• Proficiency in data mining techniques and working with large volumes of financial or operational data.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
