Assembly Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

· Responsible for providing a safe and productive work environment

· Investigates and countermeasure performance gaps in efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery, PPM and other measurables

· Work in coordination with other departments in effort to reduce cost and improve performance

· Ensure that inventory is controlled properly through reporting and scrapping in production workbench

· Prepare accurate and timely performance evaluation on employees

· Provides employees with guidance, counseling, training, and development so the employee can be effective in their position

· Studies production schedules and estimates manpower requirements to meet the schedule

· Train Team Leaders and Production Associates in all aspects of Safety, Quality & Productivity

· Effectively investigate, countermeasure, and present closure for Safety Incidents

· Effectively investigate, countermeasure, and present closure for Quality Incidents

· Capable of engaging with production team to drive department performance in all areas

· Must be able to understand efficiency and be able to cut cost and identify waste or Kaizen opportunities.

· Must be able to prioritize and work with your team accordingly.

· Overtime is a requirement for the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Strong analysis, problem solving, process and troubleshooting skills

· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

· Highly organized and possess good decision-making skills
