Powder Coat Line Manager

Spherion Staffing is seeking an experienced Powder Coat Line Manager to oversee the conveyorized 5 stage pre-treat horizontal powder paint department for a production plant in Olney, TX. This role is for a self-motivated production-minded leader with exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with hold over hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to achieving departmental goals.

Production Goals: Establish and drive production objectives to meet company targets while maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Quality Assurance: Oversee and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with architectural coating standards and customer specifications.

Safety Management: Enforce safety practices across team operations, processes, and equipment to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Skills:

- Experience in aluminum architectural applications.

- Experienced in working and maintaining a 5S work environment.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years' experience in supervising/managing a conveyorized automatic spray powder coat line and personnel.

- Extensive technical knowledge of cleaning and pretreatment required for the powder painting processes.

- Extensive experience in quality controls and processes of a powder coat line.
