School Psychologist (3 Openings) | Onsite | Kansas City, KS

Join a student-focused educational team for the 2026-2027 School Year as an onsite School Psychologist. We are seeking three qualified professionals with experience conducting evaluations for students with complex and intensive needs.

Location: Kansas City, KS
Duration: 2026-2027 School Year (August 12, 2026 – May 21, 2027)
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $50-$60 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview

This role focuses on conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across K-12 grade levels, including students with significant disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating students who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or use assistive technology (AT) devices to communicate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychological and educational assessment tools.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, support staff, and families to help determine student needs and appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and timelines.
  • Adapt assessment methods to meet the unique needs of students with intensive disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Active School Psychologist license/certification or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience conducting evaluations for students with significant cognitive, physical, and communication challenges preferred.
  • Familiarity with assessment practices for non-verbal students and students utilizing assistive communication devices.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.

  • 100% onsite position
  • Potential travel between multiple campus locations may be required.
  • Student population includes individuals with complex and intensive support needs.
