PRINCEVALLE PET HOSPITAL (Veterinary Receptionist/Client Service Specialist)
Our Veterinary hospital is looking for a qualified individual to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice as a Client Service Specialist. This position is most often the first contact, clients have with our hospital, therefore we are looking for a team member that is friendly, energetic, professional, compassionate and has a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, sometimes emotionally charged environment
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn veterinary management software
- Genuine love for animals and sensitivity to the needs of pet owners
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm appointments using veterinary practice management software
- Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to veterinary staff
- Process client payments, invoices, and maintain accurate billing records
- Maintain and update patient medical records and client information
- Communicate discharge instructions and follow-up care information to pet owners
- Support a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
