Job Description
A well-established television broadcasting company is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support the technical systems that power live television operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with broadcast technology, and ensuring reliable on-air performance.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair broadcast equipment, computers, servers, and network systems
  • Support newsroom, production, and business users with hardware and software issues
  • Ensure reliable operation of live and recorded broadcasts
  • Perform preventative maintenance, equipment installations, and system upgrades
  • Respond to technical issues during breaking news and other critical broadcasts
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of broadcast engineering or related technical experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Windows operating systems, servers, networking, and broadcast equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call support
Preferred
  • Experience with RF transmitters and transmission systems
  • Knowledge of television production workflows and IP-based broadcast technologies
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around technical equipment and travel between facilities as needed
