Overview

  • 10-4 Logistics USA is hiring full‑time W2 Class A CDL drivers based in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates with limited or no professional driving experience are encouraged to apply through a paid Class A training program. Positions are available in OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets, primarily east of I‑35.

Training program (for candidates with limited or no experience)

  • Training covers safe tractor‑trailer operation, compliant ELD use, trip reporting, pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and company procedures.
  • Progress is assessed through supervised driving and competency evaluations prior to solo assignments.

Typical duties

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor‑trailer in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
  • Haul primarily no‑touch dry van freight (approximately 70% drop‑and‑hook) for customers across the Eastern United States.
  • Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on‑time performance.
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs.
  • Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any mechanical issues appropriately.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and regulatory requirements at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL or recent CDL school graduate eligible for the company training program.
  • For training eligibility: completion of at least 120 hours of formal driving instruction per the minimum instruction requirement.
  • Ability to work as a W2 employee and comply with DOT and company standards.
