Facilities Maintenance

GL staffing is seeking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel's building, grounds, equipment, and guest room systems to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and team members. This position performs preventive maintenance, responds to repair requests, and assists with general facility upkeep while maintaining high hospitality and safety standards.

• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Schedule: 5 days per week, including weekends as needed
• Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, lighting, appliances, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, furniture, fixtures, flooring, drywall, and paint.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues within the scope of training.
• Maintain the hotel's exterior, including parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and common areas.
• Monitor and maintain boilers, water heaters, pumps, generators, and other building systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
