Position Overview

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support across Bigge Crane & Rigging's HR function company-wide supporting recruiting coordination, HR Generalist casework, onboarding logistics, and day-to-day administrative needs. This is a new position created to give recruiters and generalists dedicated coordination support so they can focus on higher-value casework and hiring decisions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting logistics including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and requisition tracking in support of the Recruiters.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Generalists (West & Union and Gulf) on employee relations casework, documentation, and file management.
  • Support new hire onboarding logistics, including paperwork completion, orientation scheduling, and systems setup.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate, compliant personnel records and HRIS data entry.
  • Support benefits enrollment and leave administration processes in coordination with the HRIS & Benefits Manager.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and other documentation as requested.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries and route more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives across the HR function.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 13 years of administrative, coordination, or HR support experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); HRIS experience a plus (ADP preferred, Bigge's HRIS platform).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a recruiting coordinator or HR coordinator role.
  • Experience in construction, industrial, or other field-based industries.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Primarily office-based in a standard office environment. Occasional travel between Bigge offices may be required.
