Caregiver

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered support to adults living in an assisted living setting, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our caregivers build meaningful relationships with residents while assisting with daily routines, encouraging independence, and promoting a positive home atmosphere. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, and mobility as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence.
• Assist with meal preparation, dining support, and hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Assist residents with community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and social engagement as appropriate.
• Observe and promptly report changes in a resident’s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Follow individualized care plans, facility policies, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers, healthcare professionals, and family members to provide quality care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
