Food Quality Assurance Specialist

Luxor Staffing is hiring Food Quality Assurance Specialists paying $22 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement food safety programs (e.g., HACCP, SQF, GMPs)
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Conduct internal audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and procedures
• Train staff on food safety protocols and best practices
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and product recalls
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, etc.)
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards
• Prepare reports on quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role working with protein food.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
• Experience in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSMA, GFSI, HACCP, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in quality management systems and data analysis tools
