Compensation Range: $260,000 – $310,000 annually

A leading global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its growing San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional real estate attorney to work on sophisticated commercial real estate matters while receiving significant client exposure, mentorship, and hands-on responsibility within a collaborative practice group.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and related transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents related to debt and equity financings
  • Support the structuring and negotiation of joint venture agreements and related arrangements
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction management from inception through closing
  • Work directly with clients, counterparties, and internal teams on complex real estate matters
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys while taking on substantial responsibility in active transactions
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and related real estate matters
  • Prior experience at a regional or national law firm preferred
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills required
  • Active admission to the California Bar required
Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 to $310,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also receive a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package, including:
