Finance (Data Center & Digital Infrastructure) Associate Attorney
Location: New York, New York
Direct Counsel is representing a leading global law firm seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Finance group in New York, with a focus on data center and digital infrastructure financing. This is a highly specialized opportunity to work on cutting-edge transactions in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the market.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 4–6 years of finance experience, with direct experience in digital infrastructure and data center financings strongly required.
Key Responsibilities- Represent lenders, sponsors, and other financial institutions in complex financing transactions
- Advise on data center and digital infrastructure project financings
- Support structured finance, acquisition finance, and other leveraged lending transactions
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related finance documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on large-scale infrastructure deals
- Analyze transaction structures and advise on risk allocation and financing terms
- Manage components of complex, multi-party transactions
- 4–6 years of experience in finance transactions at a major law firm
- Data center financing experience required
- Strong background in leveraged finance, structured finance, or infrastructure finance preferred
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in

Compensation- Expected salary range: $310,000 – $390,000
