Litigation Attorney (Insurance Recovery)
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 3–9 years of litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in—or prior exposure to—insurance recovery or coverage work on behalf of policyholders. Key Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for matters in both federal and state courts
Manage discovery, including depositions and discovery-related motions
Handle multiple time-sensitive assignments efficiently and independently
Collaborate with team members while taking ownership of significant case responsibilities
Qualifications:
3–9 years of litigation experience
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility to waive in
Interest or background in insurance recovery and policyholder-side coverage work is a plus
Additional Details:
Annual billable expectation: 1,850 hours (including up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work)
Salary range: $185,000–$265,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
