Supervising Attorney – Personal Injury (Pre-Litigation)About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing and respected plaintiff-side law firm, is seeking an experienced Supervising Attorney to lead its Personal Injury Pre-Litigation team. This role offers an opportunity to oversee attorneys and support staff while managing a caseload of complex injury matters, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and other high-value claims.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a client-first mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of successfully resolving personal injury cases prior to litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a team of case managers and legal professionals.
  • Handle a substantial pre-litigation personal injury caseload.
  • Provide exceptional, compassionate client service throughout the life of each case.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression and resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy, treatment progress, and next steps.
  • Analyze liability, coverage, and damages to maximize settlement opportunities.
  • Mentor and support team members while ensuring adherence to best practices and firm standards.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties.
Qualifications
  • Active license and good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience, preferably in pre-litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience settling personal injury cases.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop legal support staff.
  • Excellent case management and organizational abilities.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
