Corporate – Real Estate Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate – Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Denver, Colorado.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 3-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience to join a highly regarded real estate practice. The team advises clients on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, investments, joint ventures, and complex real estate diligence matters.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investments.

  • Represent lenders, borrowers, and investors in real estate financing transactions.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and related transactional documents.

  • Conduct and oversee real estate due diligence, including title, survey, lease, and property reviews.

  • Manage multiple real estate transactions from inception through closing.

  • Work directly with clients to provide strategic legal counsel on complex commercial real estate matters.

  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary legal teams on sophisticated transactional matters.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Active membership in a U.S. state bar.

  • 3-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience, preferably with a large law firm.

  • Experience with commercial real estate finance, purchase and sale transactions, and/or joint venture transactions.

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Experience managing client relationships and leading transactional workstreams.

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise junior attorneys and paralegals.

  • Excellent academic credentials and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $260,000-$390,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
