Job Description
Associates in this role will work on complex real estate financing structures and transactions, gaining exposure to high-value deals across multiple asset classes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on commercial real estate debt financing transactions
Draft and negotiate mortgage and mezzanine financing agreements
Structure and support preferred equity investments
Assist with permanent and bridge loan originations
Work on construction loan transactions
Handle loan participations, syndications, and loan sales
Draft and negotiate co-lender and intercreditor agreements
Support matters involving loan workouts and restructurings
2–7 years of commercial real estate finance experience at a top-tier law firm
Experience handling mortgage and mezzanine financings
Familiarity with loan syndications, participations, and intercreditor arrangements
Experience with real estate investment and financing structures
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding academic credentials
Admission to the New York Bar required
