Acme Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator
Position: Screw Machine Operator
Experience Required: 3+ years
We are seeking an experienced Screw Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on experience operating screw machines and a strong commitment to producing quality parts safely and efficiently. We are willing to train Candidates who have operated Davenport, New Britain, Wickman, Greenlee or similar Screw Machines.
Responsibilities
- Operate screw machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively with the production and quality teams to meet production requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of screw machine operating experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Schedule
Location: Loves Park Illinois
Pay: $24 to $27 per hour
Schedule: 6 am to 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with opportunities for overtime.
