Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care & Compliance

As an LPN, you play a vital role in executing resident care plans and ensuring clinical accuracy:

  • Medication Management: Accurately and safely administer medications in strict accordance with care plans and physician orders.

  • Treatment Execution: Perform clinical treatments as assigned, staying within your professional scope of practice and facility policy.

  • Observation and Reporting: Identify and record resident conditions; promptly report signs of critical status changes to the RN or Supervising Physician.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines to ensure top-tier quality care.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a unit leader, exercising independent judgment when necessary while supporting the interdisciplinary team.

  • Support Duties: Fulfill clinical and administrative tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager, DON, or Administrator.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Must hold an Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Wisconsin, in good standing.

  • Skills: Strong clinical observation, communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a group.

  • Technology: Basic computer knowledge for electronic documentation and record-keeping.

  • Experience: Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but we welcome dedicated individuals ready to learn and grow!
