Corporate (Health Care Regulatory) Attorney – New York, NY

A leading law firm is seeking a Corporate Attorney to join its Health Care Transactions Practice Group in New York. This role is ideal for an attorney with 7–10 years of experience in corporate transactions, M&A, and health care regulatory matters, looking to work on complex, high-value deals and regulatory compliance matters for a variety of health care entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on health care regulatory compliance, transactional matters, and corporate governance

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, including service agreements, employment agreements, and affiliation arrangements

  • Support mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and sale transactions, ranging from small to multi-billion-dollar deals

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on federal and state health care regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the CARES Act

  • Prepare governance documents, bylaws, and internal policies for health care entities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, counsel, and internal departments, to ensure compliance and deal efficiency

Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in New York

  • 7–10 years of experience in health care law, either in a law firm, in-house, or government setting

  • Strong understanding of health care regulatory frameworks and transactional structures

  • Excellent writing, analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated salary range: $275,000 – $325,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
