About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at East Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in The Bronx, New York. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our patients are met and exceeded. Your expertise will help us provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for patients with diverse dietary needs and restrictions
Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address patients' nutritional deficiencies and health concerns
Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
Conduct in-service training for staff on nutrition-related topics
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and nutrition interventions
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian
Current state licensure (if required)
