Securities Litigation Associate Attorney
Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in San Francisco or Silicon Valley, California.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of securities litigation experience to join a nationally recognized litigation practice representing Fortune 100 companies and leading technology and life sciences organizations in high-stakes securities disputes, regulatory investigations, and enforcement matters.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent corporate and individual clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, merger-related litigation, and other complex commercial disputes.
Assist with all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
Support clients in responding to investigations and enforcement actions brought by federal and state regulatory agencies.
Collaborate on internal investigations and government regulatory matters.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings.
Work closely with clients to develop strategic, business-focused solutions to complex litigation and regulatory issues.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on sophisticated, high-profile matters.
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
3-5 years of securities litigation experience at a major law firm.
Experience handling securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, regulatory investigations, or related securities disputes.
Familiarity with investigations and enforcement matters involving federal or state securities regulators.
Outstanding legal research, analytical, drafting, and writing skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Strong academic credentials and a commitment to exceptional client service.
Salary: $260,000-$390,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
