Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm that is hiring a talented Corporate M&A Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join its Chicago-based team.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise on complex mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings

• Focus on company-side representation and strategic acquisitions

• Draft and negotiate core transaction documents

• Manage deal processes alongside senior partners and clients

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 full years of M&A-focused experience

• Strong deal sheet and demonstrated responsibility in transactions

• Experience representing corporate buyers preferred

• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills

• Strong academic background and BigLaw or mid-size firm experience
