Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a talented Merger & Acquisitions Attorney on behalf of a respected law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced attorney with a strong background in M&A transactions, corporate law, and business advisory matters.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling complex mergers and acquisitions, including negotiating and drafting transactional documents, conducting due diligence, and advising clients through all stages of corporate transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other sophisticated corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and other related agreements.
  • Conduct and oversee due diligence processes.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on business structuring, negotiations, and transaction risks.
  • Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across practice groups.
  • Manage multiple transactions while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, or related business law matters.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
  • Strong business judgment and attention to detail.
