One of our clients is seeking an Occupational TherapistCLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE Full-Scheduled Role | Earn Up to $80/hr Assisted Living FacilitySUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITYThe Occupational Therapists (OTs) provide specialized services within a State Supported Living Center, delivering 24/7 care to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities ranging from mild to profound. Residents may also present with behavioral challenges, medical fragility, or dual diagnoses. OTs support functional independence, daily living skills, and overall well-being through assessments, individualized treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care in a residential setting in compliance with Texas OT licensure rules, HHSC, and ICF/IID program standards.CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher) from an accredited program
- Current Texas OT license with all certifications and CEUs maintained
- Must be in good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- 1–3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, medical needs, or dual diagnoses is a plus
- Ability to complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy in a residential/interdisciplinary setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills, including working with interdisciplinary teams
