Real Estate Transactional Attorney
Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join a leading California-based law firm with a nationally recognized real estate practice.
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team. This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the most highly regarded real estate attorneys in the state on sophisticated and complex matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, and real estate finance transactions
Conduct general transactional due diligence
Manage and support a wide range of matters, balancing independent responsibilities with team collaboration
Qualifications:
3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively
Major law firm experience preferred
J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
Admission to the State Bar of California
Compensation:
Base salary range: $225,000 to $300,000, depending on experience and qualifications
