Certified Addictions Counselor

Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor in the South Plainfield, NJ area. SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY* Conducts assessments and develops a service plan* Provide counseling treatment * Facilitate individual or group therapies in home with youth and families * Conducts treatment plans for individual, and/or groups* Schedule intakes and appointments in a timely fashion* Provide ongoing assesments for saftey risks and utilize interventions to mitigate saftey issues.* Provides Psycho-education on harm reduction CLIENT'S SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY* upto 25 Hours per week - Schedule is flexible in both morning and evening hours REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* Must have LCADC, CADC or CADC Intern License or status in the state of NJ* TB, Physical, MMR Titers or Vaccination Record* Background Check* Must meet the License(s) requirement* Must have experience working with the drug and alcohol population ADVANTAGES* Establish a relationship with the largest referral agency for behavioral-health in the tri - state area.* Payments processed weekly.* Increase or decrease your schedule at your discretion: choose opportunities that best fit your schedule.* Ability to grow professionally.* Access to a broad array of client opportunities.COMPANY MISSION Delta-T Group's mission is to provide cost-effective, reliable referrals, and innovative referral solutions, for the social services, behavioral health, allied health and special education fields, for the betterment of independent behavioral health professionals seeking new opportunities and those needing care and support.
