Real Estate Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded Am Law 100 firm in Century City, California, Los Angeles, California, or Dallas, Texas.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 4–6 years of commercial real estate finance experience to join a nationally recognized real estate practice representing lenders in sophisticated financing transactions involving a wide range of commercial real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related financing agreements.

  • Conduct title and survey review and perform real estate due diligence.

  • Assist in structuring and managing transactions from initial negotiations through closing.

  • Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.

  • Advise clients on financing structures, transaction risks, and real estate-related legal issues.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

  • Active Bar membership in good standing.

  • 4–6 years of commercial real estate finance experience.

  • Experience representing lenders in real estate financing transactions.

  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating loan documentation.

  • Experience with title and survey review and related due diligence.

  • Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $310,000–$390,000 (Los Angeles and Century City salary range; compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and office location).
