Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena, MN, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!
Position: PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
- To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals.
- Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carryover of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
