Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal PracticePosition Overview

Join a Fear Free certified small animal practice with a focus on preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics. This role combines scheduled appointments with dedicated procedural days and offers hands-on training to further develop dental and oral surgery skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive and wellness care
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions using advanced diagnostics, including ultrasound and endoscopy
  • Perform dental procedures and oral surgery
  • Conduct a variety of soft tissue surgeries, including mass removals, foreign body surgeries, pyometra, and cystotomies
  • Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team
  • Participate in ongoing clinical training and professional development
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $110,000–$160,000 plus production
  • Total compensation potential exceeding $180,000+

Qualifications
  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Maryland
  • Two or more years of small animal experience preferred
  • Surgical and dental experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
