Direct Counsel is partnering with an AmLaw 10 law firm to identify a highly qualified Real Estate (Equity) Associate (4–6 years of experience) to join its Real Estate practice in Dallas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to work on sophisticated commercial real estate equity transactions within one of the most prominent real estate platforms in the market. The team represents private equity sponsors, real estate investment funds, and institutional investors in complex and high-value real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial real estate equity transactions

• Structure and negotiate joint ventures, acquisitions, and dispositions

• Assist with real estate financings and transaction execution

• Conduct due diligence and draft transaction agreements

• Collaborate with deal teams on complex and high-value real estate matters

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a leading law firm

• Strong experience with real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings

• Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills

• Outstanding academic credentials

• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment

• Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to obtain admission

Compensation
