Capital Markets Staff Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Capital Markets Staff Attorney to join a leading law firm and support its commercial mortgage securitization practice. This role is ideal for an experienced real estate finance attorney with 8+ years of experience who is looking for a non-partnership track opportunity in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review disclosure in offering materials for commercial mortgage securitization transactions

• Support capital markets and securitization transactions, including commercial real estate finance matters

• Interact directly with clients and internal teams to facilitate transactions

• Assist with loan-level due diligence as needed (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in real estate finance or capital markets

• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and clients

• Admission to the New York State Bar preferred

Compensation:
This is a non-partnership track role. The anticipated annual base salary range is $100,000–$430,000, with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
