Location: Lakeland, Florida
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Compensation: $28 - $38 per hour (based on experience)
Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic therapy team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate in the evaluation of residents and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
Support residents in performing daily living tasks to enhance function and independence.
Monitor, document, and assist residents with prescribed therapeutic activities.
Contribute to rehabilitation efforts that promote residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of resident care.
Active Florida State COTA License (required)
Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred in long-term care settings)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
