Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior M&A Associate to join a leading law firm in Fort Lauderdale. This role offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated public company transactions, manage deal teams, and work directly with high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions from inception through closing
• Serve as primary client contact and strategic advisor
• Draft and negotiate key transaction agreements
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on complex deal issues
• Manage post-closing matters and integration

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of M&A and corporate transactional experience
• Strong leadership, drafting, and client management skills
• Proven ability to independently manage transactions
• Florida Bar admission required
• Cross-border transaction experience is a plus
