Role Summary

A progressive rural healthcare organization is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitative care across multiple settings. This role is ideal for a clinician who values variety in practice, working with patients of all ages in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including assessment of functional abilities and rehabilitation needs
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function
  • Provide direct patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and wellness strategies
  • Supervise and direct support staff to ensure effective care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental programs
  • Support professional development through continuing education and knowledge sharing
  • Promote physical therapy services within the community and serve as a clinical resource

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA-approved or equivalent)
  • Eligible for or currently holding a Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time position
  • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Includes occasional on-call and weekend coverage
  • Diverse patient population across all age groups
  • Practice settings include inpatient, outpatient, and community outreach clinics

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $80,500 – $120,500 annually (based on experience)
