This leading international firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with a strong foundation in copyright law and a passion for working at the cutting edge of legal issues in technology, media, and AI. The group’s practice spans high-stakes litigation and strategic counseling, representing a diverse client base — from early-stage startups to industry-defining tech giants — in some of the most closely watched IP and copyright matters in the country.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside world-class litigators on high-profile cases, including emerging legal challenges surrounding generative AI, music industry copyright disputes, and digital content distribution.
What You’ll Do:
Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals
Work on precedent-setting copyright infringement matters, often with media visibility
Counsel clients on the intersection of copyright, technology, and privacy in a rapidly evolving legal landscape
Collaborate with cross-office teams and contribute to strategic litigation decisions
Participate in client meetings, expert witness preparation, and negotiation of settlements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience: At least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on copyright or intellectual property matters
Education: J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
Licensing: Active member in good standing with the Bar in one of the listed jurisdictions (CA, NY, DC preferred)
