Real Estate Construction Associate (Senior) - Miami

Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Senior Construction Associate to join its National Construction Practice in Miami.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level associate with substantial experience in real estate development and construction-related transactions. The role offers direct client contact and the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value development projects for clients across a wide range of industries.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to real estate development
• Advise clients on construction, design, and development agreements
• Support large-scale real estate and construction projects from inception through completion
• Work directly with clients and manage ongoing transactional needs
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex development matters
• Provide high-quality legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation support

• Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development transactions
• Experience with construction, design, or development contracts preferred (not required)
• Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials required
• Comfortable working directly with clients and in team-based environments
• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required
